The Lads

It’s been a few months now since we have had a chance to give a proper studio update. Basically since August the band have been writing, recording, re-working, re-writing and re-recording a ton of new material to release at some point this year. Right up until the end of December we barely did anything other than this process, leading us to a total of 17 demos in various stages of completion.

Over the Christmas & New Year’s holidays we took some time off to spend with our families and friends. January blues? Hell no.

We’re back to work, fresh and feeling good. Seven tracks complete with seven more on the way. We should finish up writing by the end of February and will begin tracking drums in March.

Here’s a little video of us at work; it includes a little clip of ‘Sacrifice’.

Rock n Roll

Wired Desire took some time out from working in the studio to play a short intimate set of new material. The show took place on December 1st at London’s infamous Intrepid Fox venue and has been the first time they have played live since July.

The set included three brand new tracks; ‘Sacrifice’, ‘Falling out of love’ & an untitled hard rock n roll track temporarily dubbed ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll’.

Hi guys,

I kinda wanted to break the silence a bit, keep everyone up to date. Basically we have been busy writing & recording new demos for our debut album (n’ they are sounding fucking mighty right now!) – Its been well over a month now since we last played and we’re already itching to get back out there (especially with these new tunes), however, for now we’re gonna keep our heads down and get things done.

At this early stage were looking at 6/7 demos, with the plan to write 6/7 more before we finally get into recording mode, n by that I mean spending some dollar on a decent set-up.

Anyway, I just wanted you all to know Wired is alive and well (with the exception of the odd hangover) and we’re working hard to get this record finished. I can’t wait to get out & play again, n’ the lads feel the same! Album & a big fuckin’ tour is our next move… Catch you on the other side.

The band have finally begun writing & recording new materiel for an official upcoming release. The guys recently finished-up all scheduled gig commitments and can now completely focus on getting the record finished.

Wired Desire have been confirmed for DevonRox Festival – August 6th & 7th

The Festival will take place on the weekend of the 6th and 7th of August and is hosted in the grounds of the historic Powderham Castle in Devon. There are three stages; Main, Thunder and Devil. Fifty+ bands over two days. Ticket prices – which include free camping – can be found by visiting Ticketmaster.co.uk and are on sale from Monday 21st March.
